Fallout New Vegas, a personal favorite of mine in the series. Now, I know that there is a lot of debate in which Fallout is the best, but I’m not going to go down that rabbit hole. I am simply here to tell you about this game. Like all Fallout games, it takes place in a post apocalyptic world after nuclear warfare. This is also an open world game, which wasn’t open world for the first two Fallout games. New Vegas is technically the fourth in the series.
In Fallout New Vegas, you take on the role of a courier of the wasteland, who takes a bullet to the head and survives with the intent of taking revenge. The main goal of this game is to secure control over the Hoover Dam. To do that, you can do it alone, or team up with any of the main factions in the game. If you want to survive out in the wasteland, I suggest that you get your skills up, and some great weapons as well. There are a lot of dangerous enemies that lurk out in the wasteland, and you will want to be well prepared for whatever you may encounter.
Another thing to mention is that there are followers in this game. They are people who will travel with you to wherever you may go, and fight until the end of times with you. There is a limited number of followers that you can have in the game, but enough to keep things interesting. With your followers, you can get more close to them, and get to know more about their past. If they allow you to delve into their past, you will most likely have to do a series of quests for them the closer you get to them.
If it wasn’t clear by the name of the game, you are in the wasteland surrounding Las Vegas. There is still a strip of casinos that survived. Each of the casino owners hold some sort of superior power over the rest of the people. I highly recommend this game, because it will provide hours of entertainment for you. On top of that, there are multiple DLCs that extend the length of the game.
