This is a game that may come to mind when thinking of PC games, Left 4 Dead 2. You may just be casually strolling through YouTube and see that someone is playing it with a whole lot of mods. This is one of those games that can be pretty awesome, even when modded. Left 4 Dead 2 is a zombie game that has been around for a good while now. It was released by Valve in 2009, and it still seems to be quite relevant.
Left 4 Dead 2’s different maps are chapter based. For example, Dead Center is one chapter. In each chapter, there is usually four safe rooms, which are checkpoints basically. At the end of each chapter there should be a tough final enemy or situation. The four characters that you can choose from are: Ellis, Coach, Nick, and Rochelle. There really isn’t any difference between them, so it is just personal preference as to who you like better. If you don’t want to play alone, have a buddy or random person join you.
Aside from the campaign, there is an online mode where there is a team of people as zombies, and a team of people made up of the four characters. It is actually quite fun and challenging. If that is not your speed, you can face off against endless waves of zombies. Something that I should mention is that one of the DLCs on this game includes all of the original chapters from the first game. So, you should be able to spend a lot of time on this game without trying too hard. I personally wouldn’t say that this game is scary, but it definitely could be to some. Even if you don’t like “scary” stuff, this could still provide some good entertainment for you. Happy zombie hunting to those of you who have this awesome game.
